2024/2025 UPCOMING PROJECT: E.Y.E. (EMPOWERING YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS)
Empowering Young Entrepreneurs (E.Y.E) is collaboration between Trinity Medical Transport Foundation (TMTF), a U.S. based nonprofit specializing in non-emergency medical transportation, youth mentorship and leadership development, athletics, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, Environmental Women in Action for Development (EWAD), and Women at Work International (WAWI). E.Y.E is designed to empower 300 young Ugandan women and youth aged 16-35 and 30-35 staff and volunteers by intertwining entrepreneurship training with critical health education. E.Y.E will not only to enhance the business skills of young Ugandan women entrepreneurs but also to foster a deeper appreciation for the entrepreneurial spirit deeply rooted in American culture. This will be achieved by sending six U.S. experts to Uganda for a two-week period to share insights into American culture, business practices, entrepreneurship, and the entrepreneurial mindset - based upon the Ice House and U.S. Federal Reserve of Kansas City curriculum, and health care, thereby promoting understanding and strengthening the ties between the people ofUganda and the United States through shared values and connections. This comprehensive project will equip these young women and youth with essential business skills and knowledge, while simultaneously addressing significant health challenges associated with teen single parenthood and reproductive health, that are prevalent within the targeted Ugandan population.
